Kodak will discuss how its leading portfolio of solutions can help brands improve their printed package production at the 8th Annual Packaging and Converting Executive (PACE) Forum, held in Prague, Czech Republic, from February 13-15th.
An invitation-only event, PACE brings together senior decision-makers from brand owners, packaging convertors and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturers. Participants gather to share, learn and discuss the latest technology, materials, innovative design and regulatory and environmental developments. On this occasion the focus is on improving communication and encouraging increased collaboration and business continuity by helping supply chain stakeholders better align their capabilities with the needs of brand owners.
“We work with numerous leading brands and global print service providers and are excited to share with PACE’s participants the benefits of our latest advances in flexographic print production,” comments Grant Blewett, Strategic Account Manager, Kodak. “We are particularly keen to show how our solutions can drive enhanced print quality, production efficiency and sustainability on a daily basis.”
Flagship solutions are the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System and the recently launched KODAK FLEXCEL Direct System for digital flexo plate production. The award-winning FLEXCEL NX System brings a whole new approach to digital flexo plates by elevating the capabilities of flexographic printing to a level of quality and consistency traditionally associated with litho or gravure production. In addition to enabling true design freedom, maximum efficiency in print production is also assured with features that translate to faster turnaround times, more efficient job planning and sustainability improvements that derive from reduced waste levels.
Adds Blewett: “Kodak has broad expertise and experience as an innovative supplier to brands and print service providers in the Packaging segment. We offer a holistic approach to the printed packaging market with a uniquely broad portfolio of brand management and prepress solutions that drive shelf impact and production efficiency from the earliest design stages all the way through print production. As a result client demand is driving the dramatic global adoption rates by print service providers of these systems.”
In addition to solutions for flexographic and litho print production, PACE participants can learn more about Kodak’s Digital Workflow Solutions, Asset Management and Creative Development Tools that manage brand assets and streamline concepts and design, driving reductions in cycle time, rework and hard copy proofing costs, as well as a complete range of security solutions that help protect brands against counterfeit packaging.
